GB-Y CLAMP

The GB-Y clamp is the hydraulic clamp to clamp the mold using T slots in the die platen. The clamp is designed for use under severe conditions where mold releasing agent and / or spattering molten metal may occur.łB

< Precautions for mounting and operation > 1. Use the GB clamp at the normal hydraulic pressure of 24.5 MPa. 2. The T slot and the clamp area must have smooth surfaces. If the clamp surface has protrusions or is not parallel, the force is not distributed evenly, which will cause deformation and/or oil leaks from the cylinder. 3. The clamp cannot be used when the body of the clamp overhangs through the left "L" limitation as seen through the T-slot: may damage the clamp.
